Nitishastra

Written and directed by Kapil Verma, Nitishastra is an episode from our lives that reminds us of the values that Mahabharath was fought on. Perhaps a simple principle, that 'when it comes to choosing between what's wrong and who's wrong, one must pick the right', needed to be emphasized once again. Watch it for Tapsee's action in case you didn't see Naam Shabana.

Lallan Miya Says, " bhai jo aurat ki respect na kare woh bhai toh kya human hi nahi...iss film ko dekh ke hamaari phuphi boli- iss mein maa ko cast hi kyon kiya?...phir maar bhi diya ...why?"

Pressure Cooker

Director Heena Dsouza takes us down the memory lane. A story written by Paavni Wadhwan, set in the 90s, showcasing life before online shopping. Pallavi Joshi plays a home maker coping with monotony of life. Subtle performances, good nuancing and and an overall feel good film. The only downside though- it's not relatable if you didn't grow up in the 90s.

Lallan Miya says, "Bhai story telling acha hai...puraana hai...lekkin acha hai..."

MAD

Vinod Rawat writes and directs this dialogue-drama which takes a few unconventional steps in the direction of liberating parent behaviour. How we react to what is considered scandalous for a girl/woman is challenged here. Writing is natural and performances are apt. Could have been crisper but it does not drag. Worth a watch.

LallanMiya says, "aisa support maa-beti ya phir kisi bhi family member se hamesha milna chahiye...ye baat aur hai ki jab aam ki chori mein hum pakde gaye the toh papa ne belt se patak patak ke maara tha"
